I'm working on " The fiZ Karaoke Contest " , fiZ fans input is most welcomed

Hello fiZ fanZ ,

I recently attended The New Music Seminar (NMS) in NYC & a big emphasis was put on getting your fans involved in your career. They spoke about how people like to be involved with helping up & coming artists & being apart of that.I've been very excited to see such reactions since I've released the "fiZ" CD. So it's a very exciting time for me indeed.

A fan recently told me how he wished my studio tracks were available so he could play his own version of drums on them...I found this very interesting...after I spoke with him an idea came swarming in my head...

"The fiZ Karaoke Contest " . Basically,...I'm going to have a karaoke version of "This Is It" available for people to download . They make their own version of "This Is It" and upload it on www.youtube.com .

I'm going to get big sponsors involved & have some great giveaways...
for instance ,perhaps...

The Grand Prize Winner would receive a Gibson LesPaul or a gift certificate from Sam Ash or Guitar Center, The fiZ Karaoke Contest 1st place award,fiZ Gift Set(see my store http://fizband.com/store/ ).

2nd price an Ibanez acoustic guitar signed by me & the fiZ gift set
3rd Prize The fiZ Gist Set...

I was thinking of getting a radio station to be one of the sponsors ..like 95.5FM ... having it where the winner would have their version played on the radio...Their video on fiZTV ...and having all the runners up on there too...perhaps even having links to everyone that entered videos on my website too.

I was going to get judges... for instance....maybe Fingers from WBAB and some others OR I'm wondering if it should be ...whomever gets the highest ranking on You Tube....

There are allot of reasons why I like this contest

1. It's very family orientated. Something the whole family can enjoy together...I've been witnessing this more & more everyday as I have fans that are moms that play the "fiZ" CD with their kids...and they're all loving it. Even what some people thought was a questionable demographic,...teenagers...teenage boys & girls are loving this CD too...I knew this CD could & would do that...something for everyone.

2. It creates an interactive,friendly & loving fiZ community ...exactly what most fiZ fanZ are....nice people.

3. It's fun & inspiring for people to be seen singing & performing music....after all "everyone is a star".

4. It just sits nicely with my vision of where I see myself in music.Helping & inspiring others to have fun & follow their dreams.

I have other ideas regarding this but in the meantime I'm curious to know your feedback. Perhaps someone reading this would like to get involved...be a sponsor...whatever you think might be able contribute...I would greatly appreciate it.

Prosperity Affirmation

Some of you know I'm really into positive thinking,the law of attraction...stuff like that...well I belong to Joe Vitale's mailing list...he sends emails just about everyday...and I must say...he is quite brilliant the way he goes about his business...a very smart man indeed...I like him allot...anyway...one of the emails he sent me had a "Prosperity Affirmation" in it...like a prayer...I say it every morning...it's really a great way to start the day...so if you would like this affirmation just send me an email and I will send it to you...in other news...the band is almost complete...as well as this new website...the 1st episode of fiZTV is up...I'm writing a couple of new songs today...exciting stuFF for suRe...cool...see ya'll soon.

fiZ on News 12 "Making a Difference"

What a way to start blogging!...Hello everyone...your reading my 1st blog here on my website.
And what a way to start blogging ,by letting you all know that "News 12" Cablevision on Long Island did a segment on me for the shows I do for Physically Challenged Children on their monthly feature "Making A Difference" . this is a big part of my vision.To bring the healing power of love & music to as many people as I can...I look forward to seeing you all at one of my shows real soon...
